Although the character of Richa Chadha as Lajjo is the smallest among them, she leaves her impact in just two episodes. In the eyes of Sanjeeda Sheikh, the fire that keeps burning in her chest is seen flowing again and again in the form of tears. In a way, Sonakshi Sinha has been presented as a villain in this series and she has played her character well. Aditi Rao Hydari has emerged as the champion in all of them. It is interesting to see Mehrunnisa of ‘Padmaavat’ becoming Bibbojaan of ‘Hiramandi’.

Tallking about the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhasnsali Sanjay has perfected the art of selling a storyline that should ideally, already be “monotonous” by now into rich shades of top quality niche.

The only negative point is The primary critique of Heeramandi Diamond Bazaar” lies in its excessive use of musical interludes, which often leads viewers to become disengaged and disinterested.
